Today’s number: 444,000. That’s how many total horsepower (or “horsepowers,” as some of our German colleagues might say) will be churning under the louvered engine covers of the world’s fleet of Lamborghini Aventador 750-4 Superveloce models once the run is complete. So you don’t have to do the math, that means 600 of Lambo’s raucous, 740-hp Aventador SVs will be distributed around the world, with one of the chief markets being—you guessed it—China, which is where Lambo made this announcement. China is, in fact, the brand’s second largest market after the U.S., so you can bet that many of those 600 will end up there.
In supercar terms, 600 may seem like a lot for a limited variant, but the thirst for such vehicles worldwide has never been higher. Lamborghini still considers the SV “the most exclusive, pure, and emotional production model in the history of the Lamborghini brand” and says that deliveries of the half-million-dollar Aventador SV will begin this fall.
