Eagle-eyed spy photographers have captured our best look at yet at Mercedes-AMG’s upcoming stand-alone sedan. Previewed by the GT concept at the 2017 Geneva auto show, the production model is expected to make its debut in March at this year’s Geneva show.

Looking much like the concept car that preceded it, the GT four-door brings the style of Mercedes-AMG’s GT sports car to the sedan segment. Despite its GT coupe–inspired looks, it is anticipated to share its underpinnings with the Mercedes-Benz CLS-class and E-class sedans. A hatchback body style and a V-8–only powertrain lineup should help separate the AMG four-door from its more plebeian chassis mates.

Like the GT coupe and roadster, the four-door is expected to use AMG’s throaty twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine. It’s also likely that the four-door will follow in the footsteps of its coupe sibling and eventually offer GT, GT S, GT C, and GT R variants. In the coupe, these models produce 469, 515, 550, and 577 horsepower, respectively. The GT four-door captured by the folks who post on a Facebook page called Salento V12 includes noteworthy exterior details such as massive front air intakes, quad exhaust pipes, and a big rear wing, leading us to believe that this is likely a GT R four-door.

Along with its bevy of power options, look for the Mercedes-AMG GT four-door to adopt a gasoline-electric powertrain not unlike the unit previewed in last year’s concept, which relied on a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 with an electric motor to produce a combined 805 horsepower.

Watch for more information about the Mercedes-AMG GT four-door to come to light in the coming weeks as we get closer to the Geneva auto show.
