2017 Ford GT

Okay, in 2017 drive modes are not particularly special. Except, that is, when it comes to the Ford GT supercar, where they generate more interest than that Sport button in your Nissan Sentra. Ford has released a video of the GT being cycled through its Normal, Wet, Sport, Track, and V-Max drive modes, and it’s possibly the most demure clip of this year’s coolest new car showing one of its marquee features.

As we patiently wait for our turn to drive Ford’s new twin-turbocharged supercar, getting a peek at its digital gauge cluster and drive modes in action barely counts as satiating. Still, this is the only view of the gauge pack we’re going to get before enjoying some actual seat time. Is it time to drive this thing yet, or what?
