What does it take to be a good sports sedan? Aside from having four doors, a car must be able to shuttle its occupants quickly and in comfort while possessing the potential to carve corners properly. British gearhead Adrian Simpson, with avowed adventurer Bradley Hasemeyer in tow, took the Jaguar XF S for a ride on a curvy stretch of California blacktop to see if the supercharged sedan checks all the boxes. With a lightweight aluminum architecture, 380 horsepower, and a new touchscreen infotainment system, the XF seemed to hit the mark. “There’s no great weight sludging into the corners, so you’re not washing into the corners, wallowing out again,” said Simpson. “It’s all perfectly poised and balanced.” Watch the video above to learn more and take it all in.
