New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi may unveil his top ten policy priorities on Thursday. This move is reportedly aimed at chalking a roadmap for the revival of the economy and to unblock an investment logjam .

A top Modi aide told a leading daily that the focus of the entire government machinery would be to fulfil the massive mandate that Modi has got in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

According to Nripendra Misra, principal private secretary in the Prime Minister's Office, the polices would be implemented in a time-bound manner.

Delays regarding major infrastructure projects would be Modi-led NDA government's priorities, as per Misra and also efforts would be made to address as to why India had become a coal importer.

Reports have been doing the rounds that the new PM was mulling the idea of restructuring Coal India. Coal India is the state-controlled mining giant.

Modi won the General Elections mainly on the plank of development and growth. In his election campaign he had taken on the Congress-led UPA government over the issue of price rise, policy paralysis and lack of growth as well as scams and corruption. He had promised to revive the economy and generate employment.

The BJP won 282 seats on its own, securing a simple majority and 335 along with its allies.
