DADRI: A 30-year-old differently abled woman was allegedly raped in a moving UP Roadways bus by the driver and the conductor between Anand Vihar and Dadri on Sunday.
Police said the woman had gone to visit her parents in Chhibramau on Saturday and had boarded a bus to Anand Vihar. "She fell asleep on the way, and when she got up, she found herself at the Anand Vihar interstate bus depot. The bus was empty. She requested the driver and the conductor to drop her to Noida, and they agreed," deputy superintendent of police Anurag Singh said.
The duo then allegedly took turns to rape her before dumping her near Dadri police station. She managed to contact her husband, who lodged a complaint.
Police said an FIR had been registered but the two suspects had not been identified. "Six teams have been formed to nab the culrpirts," Singh said, adding the woman had been asked to help them draw sketches of the duo. A police team also visited the Anand Vihar terminus.
"The woman said she was raped between Anand Vihar and Ghaziabad. The bus plies between Anand Vihar and Kannauj and Anand Vihar and Kanpur as well," Singh said.
