Alfa Romeo will show off two new limited-edition models of its 4C sports car at the 2018 Geneva auto show.
The 4C Competizione and 4C Spider Italia will be limited to a combined 216 units (108 of each) and will feature a number of model-specific cues to separate the special sports cars from their run-of-the-mill counterparts. Notable features of the Competizione include Vesuvio Gray paint, optional Competizione-exclusive exterior stripes, dark-finish five-spoke wheels, red brake calipers, and a handful of carbon-fiber details, including the roof, rear spoiler, exterior mirror caps, side air vents, and headlight moldings. Inside, the model gets red contrast stitching on the seats and steering wheel, as well as a special Competizione badge.
The 4C Spider Italia softtop wears Misano Blue paint, yellow brake calipers, and Spider Italia badging on the lower side panel. Meanwhile, the interior of the Spider Italia features yellow stitching on the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, and doors and a dash-mounted Italia badge.
Like all 4C models, the Competizione and Italia are motivated by the brand’s turbocharged 1.7-liter inline-four mated to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Whether either of these Italians will set sail for America remains to be seen.
