You may not look like Steve McQueen, but if you have approximately half a million dollars to spend, you can dress like the late, great actor. RM Sotheby’s will be auctioning off the Hinchman race suit and Bell helmet that McQueen wore in his famed film Le Mans.

RM Sotheby’s estimates the items will fetch between $400,000 and $500,000 when they go up for bidding at the auction house’s Icons auction on December 6 in New York City. The top bidder will walk away with the pair of historic movie props, since the two articles are being sold together with no reserve.

Le Mans was a box-office flop when it hit theaters in the summer of 1971. However, it later gained a following among movie buffs and racing enthusiasts who shared an appreciation for the flick’s camera work, which was filmed on location with large chunks of footage coming from the actual 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans.

McQueen’s Le Mans regalia may not be the first apparel of his that comes to mind—that is probably the iconic turtleneck and Persol sunglasses the actor wore in 1968’s Bullitt—the Gulf Oil livery racing suit and green helmet remain some of the coolest racing attire ever to make their way to film.
