We’re just days away from the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, and still we have not gathered a single good look at upstart EV manufacturer Faraday Future’s concept car that’s scheduled to debut there. There has a been a teaser photo of . . . some part of the car, a darkened photo depicting the car’s general profile, and a promise that the company plans to spend $1 billion on a factory. Thin stuff, but today Faraday Future released yet another tease on twitter, a video of the car roving about on a racetrack—complete with blurry shots of its front end and a sharper peek at its front fender. Both pieces look pretty neat.
From what we can make out, the Faraday Future car sports full-width LED headlights and deep body sculpting. There’s also quite a lot of carbon-fiber visible, as well as what looks like a new version of the brand’s logo (a pair Fs back to back). We doubt the entire car, when we finally see it in Las Vegas next week, will be subtle. For a startup attempting to take on Tesla Motors head-on, that might just be the correct strategy. See the video below:
Our concept reveal is in 5 days at #CES2016. Watch live at 8pm PST on Jan 4: https://t.co/hMuj6HUGXN #CarOfConcepts https://t.co/aDEDt7O9na
