As car guys, we’re always curious what other car guys drive. Thus, it’s interesting to see this 1983 Honda Civic wagon for sale, which was formerly owned by Top Gear USA host, Rutledge Wood.
While the second-generation Honda Civic was about as exciting as a rock, this one has been spruced up a bit. Modifications include a 1.8-liter B18 engine out of an Acura Integra, VW seats, an aftermarket suspension, and custom Nissan D12 “tank” green paint. Of course the fact that it’s a wagon may excite some as well and certainly adds to the car’s quirkiness.
Overall, the build looks to be extremely clean and functional. There’s no doubt that a car like this would fetch decent money on its own; we’ll see whether Wood’s star power is enough to push the price much beyond its current $8500 bid.
