Koenigsegg’s outrageous One:1 just keeps running wild on unsuspecting pavement. First, we watched it blast to 220 mph at a supercar meetup in England. Then, we saw it tearing up Suzuka Circuit. Then we got to ride shotgun as it thundered up the hill at Goodwood. And then we watched as it obliterated the 0-300km/h-0 world record, from two perspectives.
The jaw-dropping hypercar’s tour of dominance continues: Koenigsegg says the mighty One:1 just broke the street-legal production car lap record at Spa-Francorchamps by more than a full second. Oh, and the vehicle that set the old record? It was a Koenigsegg One:1.
As with all of these examples of superlative thrust, Koenigsegg factory test driver Robert Serwanski was at the wheel. And while Koenigsegg hasn’t had the lap time officially verified yet, the Swedish hypercar company thinks there’s room for imporvement. “We believe this to be a new record for a road-legal production car,” the video’s description states. “We also believe there’s plenty of room for improvement.”
