Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the people on All India Radio today at 11 AM where he will share his thoughts on drug abuse in his radio programme.
Prime Minister Modi will in his 'Mann Ki Baat' programme talk about the menace of drug addiction. He had earlier thanked the people for sharing their ideas, comments and insights on the topic of drug addiction, which he said, were eye opening and helpful.
"On Sunday at 11 AM I look forward to sharing my thoughts during the #MannKiBaat radio programme. http://ift.tt/13uXKa2," Prime Minister Modi had tweeted yesterday.
"As I said during the last programme, this time I would talk about the menace of drugs. http://nm4.in/1sjHeVN #MannKiBaat," he had said in another tweet.
The Prime Minister had also invited people to talk on the issue on MyGov Open Forum on mitigating the menace and steps to get youngsters out of it.
"Several people shared ideas, comments and insights on the topic which have been both eye-opening and helpful. My thanks to them for contributing," he said in a series of tweets.
The programme will also be available on DD News, DD Bharati, Private FM Radio channels and private TV channels.
The radio talks are being used by the Prime Minister to reach out to those people without access to television living in rural areas to join his efforts to recover the economy. The Prime Minister has said he will share his thoughts with the countrymen over radio every month through the 'Mann Ki Baat' programme.
