2015 Volvo V60 Polestar

Polestar, the recently acquired in-house tuning arm of Swedish automaker Volvo, announced today that it plans to offer a full line of performance parts and dress-up accessories for various models. We sort of already thought this was a thing, but apparently not. Polestar has long sold engine-tuning packages, however, and factory Polestar-fettled versions of the S60 and V60 [pictured above] have been offered at Volvo dealers each of the last two model years.

The new bits include exhausts, rear diffusers, springs, dampers, and wheels, as well as exterior and interior trim pieces. Polestar says it will offer the parts all together in a “Complete Package,” but owners are of course free to order pieces a la carte. The add-ons, says Polestar, were developed and tested alongside the regular Volvo programs, which insures seamless integration, and installation has no affect on the factory warranty.

The line is initially being offered for the S60, V60, and XC60, as well as the Euro-market V40, and Polestar says other Volvos will be added “in due course.” Check out the full lineup of available parts here, although it’s unclear if they’ll be offered in the U.S. at first. We’ve reached out to Polestar for clarification.
