Base LX models are now strictly powered by the brand’s naturally aspirated 2.4-liter inline-four, which continues to mate to a six-speed automatic transmission. The LX’s previously optional 178-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four is now exclusive to—and standard on—the EX trim. Equipped with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the Optima EX also comes with newly standard features such as adaptive cruise control and LED fog lights, while a heated steering wheel is added to the options menu. </span>
