Mopar Jeep Wrangler Accesories

If the Jeepy hard core love anything more than their Wranglers, it’s accessorizing said Wranglers. And with the all-new JL Wrangler due to make its debut at the L.A. auto show next month (and appearing in its first official photos today), Mopar is getting a jump on things by previewing a spate of accessories to be available for the latest incarnation of the beloved off-roader. FCA’s parts and accessories division will offer more than 200 items for the new wheeler, but Mopar is taking the opportunity offered by the SEMA show to get a number of them in front of the madding crowd.

Mopar Jeep Roof Rack

Amazingly, in the three decades that Jeep has been part of Chrysler, Mopar has never offered a roof rack for the Wrangler. That’s changed. If you like slapping stuff on top of your truck, you can now do it factory style. Speaking of the roof, you’ve got your choice of hard and fabric bikini tops. If you’re more the impromptu-picnic sort, Mopar is offering a tailgate table. For holding your cooler and fishing creel, there’s a molded cargo tray that doubles the size of previous units by extending all the way to the rear seatback. New all-weather floor mats help keep things tidy, and grab handles aid ingress, egress, and physical stabilization when you’re bounding down the trail.

Jeep LED Off-Road Lights

In the boonies at night, visibility is everything, and Mopar has Jeepers covered there as well. Jeep Performance Parts LED off-road lights are available in a 5.0-inch size that pumps out 4080 lumens or a 7.0-inch size good for 8000. Why not go for a pair of each? After all, 24,160 lumens can’t be wrong. And as long as you’re boondockin’, add Mopar’s 2.0-inch lift kit, JPP rock rails, and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels. The steel Rubicon off-road bumper is a natural for this sort of duty, and while you’re at it, bolt on the Mopar-official Warn winch.

Mopar Jeep Tire Cover

If towing’s your bag, Mopar offers an integrated unit that obviates a bunch of cutting and splicing. But what’s the fun in stuff the public can’t see? Jeep has a slew of new tire-cover designs, including the Jeep logo, camouflage, and the American flag. Due to the positioning of the new JL’s backup camera, the new covers feature a central hole so as to preserve your rearward visibility. More flash comes courtesy of new accessory fuel caps, available in aluminum and black finishes.

For those who enjoy sticking things to other things, there are new graphics on offer, including a “1941” hood design celebrating the vehicle’s World War II heritage as well as an American-flag-themed option. Body-side options include a 1941 stripe and an off-road silhouette meant to evoke the hallowed Jeeply grounds of Moab. And if you’re tired of your infotainment screen getting all grungy, there’s now an available protector for your Uconnect system, which Mopar claims also enhances the screen’s visibility. In any event, the sheer quantity of stuff means that your Jeep won’t Jeep quite like any Jeep before and, likely, not exactly like any Jeep to come.
