Nissan announced the expansion of its Midnight Edition package to three of its crossover SUVs—the Rogue, the Murano, and the Pathfinder—at the Chicago auto show. The package, which is already available on the Maxima full-size sedan and was previously offered on the Juke subcompact crossover SUV, brings a host of dark-colored features to the three high-riding hatches, including black wheels, mirror caps, and splash guards.
Available on the $26,180 midline Rogue SV at an additional cost of $990, the Rogue Midnight Edition also sports a handful of model-specific touches such as black roof rails and crossbars, a rear bumper protector, and illuminated kick plates. Meanwhile, Murano customers interested in the Midnight Edition package will have to spring for the top-of-the-line Murano Platinum at $40,120 and be willing to drop an extra $1195 to equip their Murano with the Midnight Edition’s darker kit, which also includes black roof rails.
As with the Murano, opting for the Pathfinder Midnight Edition requires the Platinum trim. It is a $1195 proposition added to the Pathfinder Platinum’s price of $43,010. Pathfinder Midnight Editions, however, also include a host of model-specific features such as a black spoiler, illuminated kick plates, and a chrome rear bumper protector. Both the Murano Midnight Edition and the Pathfinder Midnight Edition are available now, while the Rogue Midnight Edition goes on sale in March.
