Last year, the performance-oriented Competition model cost almost $8000 more than the base trim, but it included the more powerful engine that’s now standard. That makes it a relative bargain to get the package for $3000. It improves the car’s appearance with S-line bumpers, red brake calipers, and 20-inch wheels and spruces up the already fancy cockpit with a flat-bottom steering wheel, Valcona leather, and more. It also adds sportiness with its torque-vectoring rear differential and sport suspension. All told, our A7 with the Competition package cost $73,675.
