We'd Call It King Chrome: the 2016 Ford F-150 Limited

Ford is recalling 51,884 pickups and vans for seat belts and airbags, the company recently announced.

Certain 2016 F-150 pickups have faulty passenger-airbag sensors that can deactivate the frontal airbag by classifying a seated adult as a child. The problem has only been found in the optional multi-contour seat, and only when the massage feature is activated. A total of 2894 pickups are affected. Dealers will reprogram the occupant classification system at a later date.

The 2015–2016 Transit Wagon—that’s the windowed passenger model with seating for up to 15—have seat-belt buckles in the rear rows that can be damaged from heavy items placed on the seat benches. Ford said this can keep the buckles from latching. A total of 48,990 vans are affected. Dealers will repair or replace the buckles at a later date.
