New Delhi: Amid sharp criticism of Rahul Gandhi for going on 'sabbatical' ahead of the key Budget Session of Parliament, a Congress leader has claimed that the party vice president is camping in Uttarakhand.
Jagdish Kumar Sharma, national vice president, Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), posted pictures of Rahul Gandhi camping somewhere in the hills of Uttarakhand.
Denying that Rahul was outside the country, Sharma said on Twitter that the Congress scion was in Uttarakhand.
Confirming the development, he also told a TV news channel today that Rahul visits Uttarakhand every year.
Congress leaders had said that Rahul was taking a few weeks' leave from the party to reflect upon recent election results and prepare for the AICC meet in April.
